Our items have been tried and tested through a vigorous wash and dry process. However, it is very important you review the ‘Fabric & Care’ tab sewn inside the seam of your garment.
Please be mindful of wearing jewellery on some of our more delicate items, such as the Louie lace. 
All items come with a spare custom button attached to your swing tag or care label - so don't forget to keep it!

We use Vertical Logistics courier service for shipping of all orders.

Orders outside of New Zealand may be subject to additional customs duties.

After ordering, you'll receive a purchase confirmation email. Once we have processed your order, you will receive a second email with your tracking number.


Each country differs in what they charge so it is best to contact your local Customs Office to understand these fees before purchasing from us.

Should you need to return an item, we are unable to refund any duties and taxes paid.

Australian orders over $1,000 AUD are liable for duties and taxes but please contact your local customs office for an estimate.

We take no responsibility for charges or delays incurred at receiver's end as this can vary depending on the rules of customs in each country.

Sale items may not be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty. Any online purchase returns may only be made via our contact page and not at any local stockists unless the item was purchased from there. Shipping and handling charges are not refunded unless the original item was incorrect or faulty.


We're so sorry if you receive a faulty garment. Returns will be accepted on any faulty garments within a reasonable timeframe. If an item is faulty, you may request an exchange for another item, a store credit or a refund if the situation cannot be remedied through the other ways.

Please email us to make us aware of the situation. You may then send the garment back to us. The result of this will be decided by French Freddie. This must happen within 7 days of purchase or delivery.


If you wish to exchange an item please email us as soon as possible to reserve another item. Items may only be exchanged for other items on Exchanges for online purchases may only be made via email and not at any French Freddie stockists. Initial and return shipping and handling charges are not refunded unless the original item was incorrect or faulty.
